Hey poker pros who have played in Houston. I have lived in Houston for over 15 years now. I used to pack and take the 3 hour each way bus and ride to Lake Charles, LA to play poker. Then Mint poker club popped up in Southeast Houston in 2015? I have been playing in town ever since.
I’m not a pro. I play mostly every weekend. I have been playing at Legend poker club for a few years now and I like the action and staff. Recently TCH on Westheimer got popular very quickly and lots of holdem players play at TCH now. I played there a few times. I felt the way they play were much different, given the pay structure is hourly rather than rakes per pot.
Any opinions on TCH and other poker rooms in Houston you like?
