1970's leaded Paulsons (150). Not necessarily for sale (but I'm considering it).

I initially purchased these for quarters, since the denomination doesn't have a $. These would work for either $.25 or $25 (versatile).

The person I purchased these from indicated they were from a 1970's underground card room in the Southwest (Arizona, New Mexico, etc...). I don't have all the details, but when I initially posted about these on CT a few years ago, the consensus was this is a plausible story.

They're leaded, and buttery smooth. A dream to handle and shuffle (from a chip aficionado perspective).

I'm wondering what these'd be worth if I were to put them up for sale? I'm trying to raise funds for my CPC tourney set, and I just don't have a need for these anymore (other than for collector value). I've toyed with selling them in the past, but some wise folks convinced me I'd regret it if I sold them.

Honestly I think if you got $1/chip you'd be doing pretty good. If the stamps were a lot better you might get more, but to me they would price just above starbursts.

Yikes, 2 years ago, I posted on these and some wise folks were advising these might be worth $1.25-$1.50/chip. Would have thought these might have gone up, not down. Oh well. :)

Yellow Paulson quarters... :(

Thanks for the speedy response. Merry Christmas everyone!!!

These were Russ' chips I think he found at a flea market in Texas bitd. I remember a ct post about it. I'd say a buck or so a chip, but who knows?

I think on PCF, you would get 1 to 1.25 per chip, on eBay in volume over 1 full rack, lets say you post the 150 you have...probably 1.50/each

Would blow my mind if you got $1 per but prices have been ridiculous lately so who knows.

I'd put worn paulson hot-stamps at less than $1/chip. And those aren't quarters.
