Anyone have any thoughts on how to remove fake spots? Either nail Polish or paint I think. These are old Portland Card Co Elks lodge chips.

Thanks!

Use Non-Acetone Nail Polish Remover

When I bought the below chips a number of the fives had gold stars affixed that were coated with a clear nail polish.

I used Non-Acetone Nail Polish Remover and a toothbrush to disolve the polish. Followed that with a light rinse and oiling.

Can't stress enough, Non-Acetone

Good Luck!

Thank you.

I grabbed 12 at a time in a clamp and rubbed them on a magic eraser with some non acetone polish remover on it, then a quick touch with a drill mounted buffing wheel. Worked pretty good. Got much of the edge dirt off too.
