I am thinking of going to the Soaring eagle in Michigan next spring to play in the HPT tournament. They seem to have a good satellite system to get into the main event there.

Has anyone been to a HPT event before if so how was it?

Has anyone been to the Soaring eagle and what was it like ?

I've never played in a big casino series before but would love to. I don't think they run any HPT events here in the Northeast. We do have WSOP circuit events though. What's the buy in to the main you're trying to play?
