October is an eventful month for me. I thought I'd kick it off with a giveaway!

The spoils of this giveaway is a sample set of the Canadian currency MSK plaques.

To be eligible, you must say something nice, or that you like about Canada or Canadians. Then end your reply with "sorry" or "eh".

Free shipping to Canada only. Ok, maybe I'll ship to anywhere in the world I guess.

The winner will be declared on October 20th, my birthday. Lots of time for everyone to show Canada some love.

I got some nice neighbors here in Hawaii that moved here from Canada eh!!!

I’ve never been to Canada but I hear it’s great. If we ever get past this covid-nonsense, I guess it’s abooot time I went, eh?

I'm gonna get my bike and ride 'till i get there, so you don't have to ship them to Italy and i can enjoy some good Maple syrup (gently offered by you i guess :p). Sounds like a deal, eh?

I just want to summarize the nice things said about Canada so far:
  • amazing vendors/designers
  • my Canadian neighbors are nice
  • blame Canada
  • my sister loves Canada
  • never been there but heard it's great
  • they have good maple syrup
  • Canadians are like Aussies
  • something about maple syrup flavored cotton candy
That is all.

I've lost count of the times that I have played with @moose and his crew. They are always a blast. I have cosco Rum sitting on my shelves awaiting their return. Fun dudes to play cards with (and @ Mrs Moose) eh

During my first trip to Quebec I was introduced to an awesome Gin called 'ungava'. I feel in love with this Gin and brought back as many bottles I could. Over the years, every time I heard someone was going to Quebec....I asked them to mule bottles back. :-)

From this first experience, I started trying different Canadian Gins. While I do like St Laurent, Portage Dry Gin, etc....ungava remains my favorite from Canada.

So, in closing....Canada makes some really good Gin!

Banff and Golden were just abooot two of the nicest places I have ever been in a country full of beautiful ones, eh.

Once traveled to Windsor via Detroit. Beautiful beautiful city. Can neither confirm or deny that there were Cuban cigars traveling back eh?

  • Our health care system
  • We don’t start a war every few years to prove our manhood or boost our economy
  • We can put our own flag on our backpack when we’re traveling (seriously, I’ve seen multiple examples of our Southern neighbors using the maple leaf flag to avoid being tagged as Muricans)
  • We don’t elect reality TV stars as our leader (yet, but O’Toole might change that)
  • Sorry, too political, eh!
