I was inspired by @liftapint's quest for a solution to all those sample sets and singles I have floating around. So I decided to clean up my random boxes of chips in air-tites and organize them into a better solution. I found these binders last year when I was looking for a storage solution for some of my baseball cards. They're really nice, high quality binders. They come with a box/slipcase that makes stacking them easy, and looks really clean when stored. I recently bought a few more to use as my solution for my sample sets and singles, and got some of those cardboard w/ mylar chip flips on eBay, and some 20 pocket vinyl pages to use in the binders for storing the chips. Here are some pics of what they look like, and some links to what I got. I have 11 pages in each of my binders, so 220 chips per binder. You could probably get 12 pages in though if you wanted to load it up.

Looks like a great upgrade!

What are your thoughts on binder vs visible displays? Too many chips to display, not enough space, or something else?

I’ve been trying to figure out what to do with mine.

The approach I've taken is to display customs, and put casino chips in binders. The reasons are twofold - customs are frequently more artistic and worthy of display, and the casino chips are often more valuable and/or be traded or sold. I don't necessarily want my valuables on display, and the binders are a more convenient way to grab/store a bunch of chips that I might need to take to a convention.

Did you have to staple the cardboard chip squares together?
I'm curious about this too -- did you have to staple (or tape?) the cardboard ends together on the "mylar chip flips", or do they work together somehow with the "Vinyl 20 pocket chip pages" by just folding the "chip flips" around the chip and sliding into the vinyl chip page without needing to be stapled?

Thank you! I literally was just looking for a solution after just loading up on a bunch of singles.

Has anyone found a solution for displaying 43mm chips in this way? Looks like the 40mm flips are the largest I can find, but 43mm chips loose in these 20 pocket pages are loose.

43mm chips inside air-tites in the 12-pocket pages works for me

I absolute love the “box slip case” thing. Takes it to the next level!

No, I actually cut the flips in half and only put one side in the page sleeves then put the chip on top. It sits inside the flip's 40mm hole and keeps it from sliding around. I like this better than using the full flip.

keep flicking through the pages. we want to see all the sample sets!

Just ordered a binder, binder coin sleeves, and coin flips. I think it's going to turn out great.

Pro-tip: make sure binder coin sleeves fit your coin flips (the exterior dimension), not just your chips...

On an unrelated note, I am returning some binder coin sleeves...
