1 table - T10000, 200X BB, bounty sit & go with rebuys until the second break

We are looking at 3.5-4 hours and then the group will play cash. As soon as 5 players bust out, cash starts

Umm, they're called double or nothing tournaments and are pretty fun (and easy on the host), IMO.

Remember I have a T2000 chip. That changes things a bit. I just read everything and I'm a laid back dude, Trihonda.

Cash on Terribles MT primaries or E&C hotstamps after the tourney.

I've been told that the first time you get the customs out the host will take a beating. No worries this is the low stakes donkey group. birds of a feather...

I disagree with Dave on the LVL 2, lol.... and I know this has been debated before...

I say just do the jump from 25/50 to 50/100. I'm not a fan of huge jumps, but this happens so early on in the tourney, it's not a big deal IMHO. Much less a strain on my chip/structure OCD than this:

L1 25 50
L2 25 75
L3 50 100

But whatever you decide, the players will likely care much less than you.

Much better to just start blinds at 50/100 and double the size of the starting stacks. Or when facing a chip shortage (like the OP), interject a softening blow level.

And fwiw, I didn't invent the idea of 25/25 and 25/75 tournament blinds. I just understand that their use makes a lot of sense.

I like the structure given as is. I have 25 T10,000 chips for rebuys but we'll get all the chippies in until we need those quarter pies. My guys will love this and the chips have meaning to us so its all good.

I never thought of this, for my work tournament series. An extra play round early would come in really handy for my players in that series.
