I read a few threads that mention Icon but I was wondering if anyone has a home set? Or if anyone has contacted them about possible retail market offerings.

Think that because icon chips are slugged chips (correct me if I'm wrong, but some reviews I've seen said they're 13g), most here have little interest. From what I can see, they're about 55c per chip which is waaay to much for a metal slugged chip that isn't going to stack or handle better than dice chips. They're customizable, but custom labeled NexGens would be a better value and feel nicer imo.

If you're referring to their casino offerings, I can't tell if they're ceramics or wut.

Their casino roulette offerings are nice for what they are

Don't think they are slugged, just tested my hard rocks with a magnet, and there wasn't anything there. But agree that they handle unlike anything else I know of, including Chipcos. But they sure do have some great colors, and no Chipco white ring around the edges.

I thought that I read somewhere they may have a clay option as well. I better get back to google....

Their web site, as well as their resellers, are remarkably unhelpful about any difference between casino products and retail products, as well as finishes and the different types of chips they have. And I still don't know what they are made out of, but as I listen to them (I dug out the hard rocks) they certainly sound like they have a slug in them.
