Paulson Le Noir was a home game series designed by J5 and commissioned by Sidepot sometime after the Protege contest of 2006.

Thank you very much.

Haven't looked, but I assume nearly impossible to find a set of these chips?

Very difficult to find in playable quantities and usually on the expensive side, but they do pop up occasionally.

Since neither the name of the manufacturer nor the set appear on the chips, they are sometimes listed in a way that slips through the typical "Paulson chips" searches that many of us use to find chip sets on eBay and elsewhere.

A member recently posted a CL link for a large set that was ridiculously cheap and had them purchased out from underneath him while driving to the location of the seller.

One slight downside of these chips is the tendency to color transfer. They seem to be a bit on the soft side.
