I've had these Copags for a while, but they're unlike any other Copags I've ever played with. I would love another set, but can't seem to find this exact configuration anywhere.
These cards are thicker and a tad stiffer than any other Copags I know of and the ink doesn't seem to fade as quickly. The brand generally isn't my top choice, but these ones are great.

They're poker size, regular 2 index and have full bleed back designs. In red and black (not blue)

(First picture is the mystery Copags on the left and Belgium made Copag Texas Hold'em on the right)
They're about 4% thicker than the Texas Holdem's.

I always thought they could be casino cards, because of the plain white tuck box. They're Brazil made and almost certainly pre-cartamundi acquisition.

What do you guys think?

I didn't notice those being black, looked blue in the picture. Can you take a closeup of that card back? Here's from a sealed setup I have. Pattern looks right.

I had a setup of these once. I believe they were a special print for TCS John Huxley. One of the extra cards (jokers, etc), had something like “exclusive printed for John Huxley). Is that card included in your setups?
That might be the answer.

Bit of a strange partnership? I'm wondering why Huxley would commission non-branded Copags on different stock? Are they even in that market segment?

True, it does look more blue in the picture. It's definitely black though. Here's the deck next to an unrelated blue one, for comparison.

I've always been a big fan of Copags. Although the cardstock is thinner (which isn't a bad thing), the cards are super durable. They're hard to beat for the price.
You're not wrong about that. It's just that here in Europe it's easy to source some amazing cards for great prices if you look in the right places. Lots of great options.

Interesting! No such card in this deck though. Two jokers (but also not the most common Copag ones) and a guarantee card...

I recently got some of the Resorts at Sea copags in the white tuck boxes and compared to my other Copags they seem to have a slightly different card feel, better in my opinion. Do casinos get different card stock??

Sorry, I didn’t catch that they are blue/black setup. I never had a setup of those. This is the first time I’ve seen these! They might be exclusive to Europe.
I did have a similar setup (red/blue, export backs, poker/regular index), which again were exclusive for John Huxley.
GL, with your search! Hopefully, you get some answers.

Oops, I'm afraid I made things more confusing with that picture. It is indeed a black/red setup. The blue deck in the picture is just another Copag deck to show that the one in question is in fact black. As there was some confusion about that since the colors in my first picture weren't super clear. (I edited the post to clarify)

@pokerplayingpisces I should also add that the red back isn't your regular Copag red back either. It's a bit more burgundy I guess. Was this the case with your John Huxley setup as well?
No. Mine was standard red/blue. The only reason they were exclusive was the fact that they were poker/regular index. The export is usually only available in poker/jumbo or bridge/regular.

The TCS Huxleys I have (red/blue setups in bridge and poker) have more of a diamond pattern on the back. Much different than export, but full bleed.
