Identify this outer design/pattern? Anywhere to order? (1 Viewer)

Hello,

I'm looking to buy my very first set of poker chips! Exciting and a bit overwhelming...

I've looked at TONS of different designs and so far, these are easily my favorite. However, I would really like to buy them from somewhere other than Alibaba and ideally cheaper... Does anyone know if this can be done?

Are these the same as "china clays"? I know they are a composite with the metal slug but not sure if that's the same thing. I am OK with this metal filler option as this is a first time set and I am not looking to spend a ton, ideally under 0.5/chip but I also want them to be enjoyable to use. This is just for low stakes poker with my friends.

Is there any custom chips that could be made with this same outer design?

No idea...however if you are willing to spend .50 cents a chip you are doing yourself a huge disservice if you don't consider the Hybrids that Justin offers monthly on the Broken Arrow sub forum here. Good luck on your journey.

The chips you show are not china clay, they are plastic sluggos. For the same money, you can get an excellent hybrid set from @justincarothers.

Plenty of great designs created by members here to choose from. Much better quality than metal slug chips.

If I order, can I pick a different inlay than he has listed or are they stuck as seen? For example, if I chose the sands set, could I get them with the 25c inlay on the green border instead of the $25?

Yes!

There is a small fee for that, it should be listed somewhere in that thread but it is 100% doable.

I did some quick googling and you are right! There are several designs I actually really like. Thanks for the recommendation.
