Hi,

I am looking at these chips online, however the seller seems to have minimal knowledge. They have identified they may be a ceramic chip but from what I am seeing it might be more likely they are an ABS / metal core chips?

I am sure some of the experts here would have a better idea and coulda give me some more info!

Do I have to ask the seller to weigh the chips for a better idea?

Thanks.

hi A

they are the cheapest slugged (metal Core) plastic chips you can get. They are horrible. Its hard to find a worse chip. But if you can pick them up for $25 AUD or less its not a bad deal.

They are from a poker league in Australia. see https://www.playapl.com/

Hi Geoff,

Thank you. Just what I suspected. Good to have confirmation!

sorry i didn't have better news...

what are you looking for? There is a few retailers here in oz and heaps of retailers here on the forum.
Im looking for a nice set of ceramic for a reasonable price. Really a set of ~300 for up to $150.

I know this might be a hard ask, but I am hoping there might be something. Everything I can find comes up at $300+….

I would love to hear your ideas!
