You ROCK!!

My wife used to help me with chips, but now she's too freaked out about doing the wrong thing. I have 2 sets of Aces Casinos, 1 mint and 1 playable. Out of the kindness off her heart, she cleaned up the basement for me after Friday night poker. Since it didn't make sense to her why half of the 1s, 5s, etc would be on the left side of the 1000 chip case and the Half of the 1s, 5s, etc on the right side, she kindly reorganized my chip case so all denominations were grouped together:eek:. After a couple of hours of painstakingly re_seperating them out, I assured her that all was okay.:D

...then she dropped a rack of my mint TR King Deadwoods on the floor and that convinced to NEVER touch the chips again.:) She means we'll though(y)

My wife would pack my chips in a heartbeat, of course I'd never see them again...

Actually, chips are the least of her concerns, as I don't have many. But her motto is: if it doesn't get used, it goes! So my trains might be pulling out for the last time :(

Don't do it! I've been lugging around my G-scale for decades now. :) Though I did thin the herd a few years ago.

Yeah. I have Lionel O gauge and I haven't set them up in a long time. Several old sets, but be newer set, a bunch of plasticville, older coal tower. Ugh, I hate to sell it, but too many toys and too little time I guess.

I have a bunch of N scale Kato and microtrains stuff.

I hear you and I have downsized a bite as well. I don't even collect, as much as just gather various types of something. Sometimes a lot of types, sometimes just a few, but it adds up. You see my signature line: "Honey, when I die, sell my chips for what they're worth and NOT what I told you I paid for them". Well, there are two problems with that:

1 - The line should read, "Honey, when I die, sell my chips, tools, trains, guns, ammo, RC cars, fly fishing gear, archery gear, HAM radio gear, optics, humidors, watches, etc., for what they're worth and NOT what I told you I paid for them"

2 - She won't sell it for what it's worth. She'll dump it! So why not use the space and the money now.

Hurting the chips is one of my biggest fears :(!

Slisk conduct a biannual chip census of the sets he owns in the various continents, countries and states.

I'll try to get on it. First question to answer is how many people are holding chips for me? I think 6? Forrest, Paulo, Scott, Dan (soon), Andy, Dad...(he can still take small shipments).

I have a bad memory and getting older. It makes coming home even more special as I forget the deals I made months earlier....Christmas in March and July this year!

The dream nerd meet up in Colorado, would be a 6 day spectacular. First we get @Psypher1000 to bring in all his board games for Monday. Tuesday is N scale train day at the cabin (after I move home and build the layout)...then the cards from W-Sat.
