Not Mine I'm sure someone wants this Casablanca set (1 Viewer)

Great BIN price in today's market. Those near-mint $5s are probably worth at least $500 all by themselves.

I've bought from that seller a few times before. ....chips were very nice and as described (if anyone was interested in feedback )

Another reality check on my side regarding prices, because all I can see are the 3 racks of nice redbirds.
1K with shipping doesn't feel like a steal... but hey, what do I know.

My mint TKGB TRK tourney set feel like a bargain @$3/chip, if used casino & mint home paulsons are @$3-4/chip

There are about 3-1/2 racks of reds, 2 racks of green and 2 racks and grays. So closer to $1.33/chip shipped (to Europe) when all is said and done.

Seller doesn't specify how many chips, but there are 746 total chips pictured. That's $1.27 each plus shipping -- sure looks like a bargain to me, especially in today's market. And he's taking offers, if you feel the BIN price is too high.

Nice chips. I don't think $1.28/chip is far off the mark, considering the market these days.

I guess I worded it wrong, those fivers deserve better partners then those used 25's & hundo's.
Casino used and mint chips mix is no go for me (IMHO)

So looking at this lot, only interested in the 5's...price seems steep & breakdown not optimal for tourney (lacking higher denoms)
Expensive start if you want to build a mint tourney set, for cash the 5's could work but if I recall correct no/almost none $1 chips were available.

And to be sure, I was not saying this are not current market prices...to me these prices are just mindblowing (also saw PCA primary hundo's @ $4,5/chip)

Fair enough. Though I would a least subtract out what you could (somewhat easily) sell the $25 and $100 chips for. So at that point I think you're talking around $1.75-$2.00/chip (net) on the near-mint $5 chips, which seems reasonable and in line.

And you are correct about there being very few $1 Casablanca chips available (and I don't think they were mint).

If someone wants this set but would prefer "matching" 5's, I have a couple hundred casino used Casablanca 5's with yellow/purple 3D14 spots available. You could buy the set, buy my 5's, and sell the minty 5's that come with the set to defeat the total cost and have a set with matching use and inlay sizes.

Just an option.

The matching inlay sizes would be key (for my OCD). This is become more and more tempting...

He said he's got 3 racks of PNY 25's which he would substitute the 25's from the listing for with a BIN of 1050.... Not that anyone would want to mix PNY's with this set but I was just curious what his other 25's were.

I was curious too, just got busy today with other stuff and never sent the message.

But yeah, if the different Casablanca inlay sizes tilt me, imagine (me) trying to use PNY $25 chips!

Ya, pricing is solid, just looked at the two auctions for PD chips that someone pointed out here, both auction for 60 chips total, and one is going for around $2/chip last I checked... with like 7 days left!!!??? Whoa, insane eBay pricing. :)

I'd say 1.28/chip is reasonable.

I think they are a good deal. : ) It's my set so if anyone wants to make offers individually for the 5's or the hundo's, pm me. I am ok with keeping the casa greens because I know their condition is not that great (and they are awesome under a black light) but I'd like to move the hundreds and the fives together. I threw in the PNY as an alternative because they were near mint and offered a set to the non-chipper on eBay. I would like to sell to finance a rounders set...anyone went to trade? As far as breakdown, this fits my normal tourney set, T3000. I didn't think there would be much interest here which is why I posted on eBay. Let me know.

Smaller lots often get higher $/chip prices - plus, there are fracs included in both of those listings, right? Those are nearly impossible to find so it's not all that surprising IMO.

Ya, you're right of course. Just trying to illustrate that I thought the auction listing price (in the OP) was reasonable, not slam the other PD chips auction, which does include a few fracs..

To make it even more reasonable, $825 shipped if someone wants to buy them here via F&F...that saves the fees from the transaction and gives the buyer a discount. (This is for the Casablanca 25's, not the PNY's).

Definitely it's the fracs driving those auctions, not surprised a bit about the price but I am surprised at how much action there has already been. I thought the big moves would come at the end, and who knows, the price might still move quite a bit.

Hope someone here gets them, I'm not interested in paying that much for these fracs with out the possibility of eventually filling out a full rack, which I'm not sure is a very realistic possibility if the totals Jim quoted for the amount of total fracs in circulation now is accurate.

I listed the reds and greys individually, take 10% off for members here if done via F&F.
