On another note in addition to the potential for chips after re-branding when they realize the new name is horrible and they have to re-brand again there should be some additional chips coming to market, that will only be two months old. :)

What is the cancellation policy of Ohio's Gaming Commission?

So the new name is TWO JACKS? Oh, I guess not.... they are one jack off....

Anyone seen the secondaries from the Ohio Horseshoe casinos?

I'm not positive but I don't believe there is a secondary rack. I thought I read that somewhere the the casino's opened that is wasn't required in Ohio.

I don't know but they came up with a 2nd set of snappers very quickly... Secondaries or a rush job by Paulson. And on it they turned what would have been an outstanding relabel option in to absolute garbage with one of the worst inlay decisions in the history of chipping.

I don't have a pic handy but they are floating around here somewhere.

I could find the info on the Michigan Gaming Control Board site. But, do believe the Greek town chips will be destroyed :(
While currently difficult to acquire it does make one wonder if they may take the "fuck it" approach in the last couple days before the switch and sell racks of quarters out of the cage ;)

Possible [emoji57]
I can tell you this. When MGM Detroit switched over to its current fractions. They didn't have many first edition fractionals to destroy. I managed to sell 2200 of them [emoji6]

I'm not saying I wouldn't be interested in a couple birdcages full of that $1, but damn, why do so many places go for faux shaped inlays these days? Looks horrid.

According to the Ohio gaming commission they have specific colors for each denomination and each denomination has to have a different shaped inlay so it can be easily identified. (I was trying to find out about their cancellation policy and ran across that).

There's hope for the Ohio chips.

I went through all of Ohio's gaming-related statutes as well as the Casino Control Commission rules, and there's nothing in there that states the chips must be destroyed upon closure of a casino. There's procedures for how to destroy chips, but the statutes don't say *when* they must be destroyed.

My word is by no means a definitive resource; It's entirely possible that there's a sub-set of rules not posted online that discusses what has to happen when an Ohio casino closes, or that the rules/statues posted online aren't up to date. Just sayin' that there's hope.

Not to mention that all three casinos would be a relatively short drive for Jim to pick up..... :whistling:

I have a pickup and a tilt trailer, I'll deliver the Cleveland chips to him for some TCR credit ;)

I made a play for the Cincy chips, but was told that they must be destroyed according to the Ohio constitution.,

Only Ohio would have a sacred constitutional amendment regarding disposition of casino chips. :p(n)
