Welcome!
I have a post on chip break down, but it's more centric to .25/.5, I've also written a New Member Start here post, both can be found in my signature. (landscape on mobile)
That said here would be my suggestions.
First my assumption is that this is for a cash game of NLH.
For any game, you don't want too many chips on the table, it becomes cumbersome and annoying, and can slow down the game.
You don't want to have the other side of the coin, too few chips, then you have to make excessive change. Balance...
Denominations of '10' in a US/USD set sucks, 1) its useless 2) its inefficient 3) for newer players it adds something else that can seem to just add to the clutter
There are exceptions, if you live outside North America sets often have a slightly different structure. If you want to have a .10/.50 game, the efficiency allows you to have fracs at a more efficient chip count. Also, we have weirdos in the community, and this can just be another way for them to branch out and have fun. We have a certain member of the community that has some of the best chips on the planet and they happen to be a .10 denom.
Ideally you would have a break down like this:
.05 - 100
Non Denom - 100
$1 - 200
$5 - 300 (a lot of hosts like at least 400 )
$20 or 25 - 80
$100 - 20
With this breakdown you can host just about any game up to 1/2.
With your current chipset you should either use the .10/.5 or the .05 / .25 - You should not put all of those chips into play.
As you're playing Micro stakes, you should use the .05/.25 and not use the .10 or the .5.
You should look to increase your set to:
.05 - 100
.25 - 100
1 - 200
5 - 100
The non-denom frac allows you to put the chip in as a .25 chip or a .50 chip. This allows you to re-use the chip as your game grows. In .05 / .25 blind structure you can use it as a .25 chip, later when you want to play .5/1 or .5/.5 games you can use it to be a .50 chip.
If you have OCD when it comes to starting stacks, and you're seating 10 players, there is an argument for 120 non denom fracs, so that all players can start with the same amount of fracs (10). I'd rather not have 20 chips as danglers that I have to have a rack for.
