Waiting List
So I'm looking to start a low stakes mix when I move back into my house which is currently rented - in January. Not a lot of mix is played here in the UK, any that does exist is almost exclusively played Pot Limit, usually with blinds of 1/2 or even 1/1. But having worked in the casino business for over 20 years I feel that I know a few trusted degens who would appreciate a fun small limit mix, either 3/6 or 4/8, spread maybe once a month, for fun, no rake etc.
I have a fair amount of ceramics from Tina, 700x singles, they are Aria colours (sorry colors for most of you ) and edge spots, with a very simple black inlay and text design which Tina did for free.
I want to hear about any interesting mix games that you put in your games. Nothing too insane, wilds are fine as long as the game isn't too ridiculous. Actually yes, would like some wild card recommendations
This is my game list so far, although not all will be included in the mixes on the day:
NLHE Cap (40 blinds)
5 card PLO Cap (40 blinds)
Short Deck Cap (6s up, 40 blinds) - will have a separate deck ready to go with deuces through fives stripped out
5 card Omaha 8b
6 card Triple Board Omaha Hi (1 point per board won, most points scoop)
Super Stud High (3 down 1 up, discard after 3rd street)
Stud hi/lo 8b
5 Card Triple Draw High
2-7 TD lowball
Badeucey (Aces high both sides)
Irish 5card (discard 1 post flop, 2 post turn) (We call Pineapple Irish in UK & Ireland)
Drawmaha single draw post flop (Omaha / 5 Card Draw)
Drawmaha 49 single draw post flop, 2 card max draw
Drawmaha Zero single draw post flop, 2 card max draw
Archie - Triple Draw hi/lo - Nines/8 or better (Ace= low, nut low = A2345)
Super Stud hi/lo Regular (No low qualifer, 3 down 1 up, discard after 3rd street)
Super Razzdeucy (Aces high both sides, nuts = 75432 & 2345 for badugi)
For structure I was thinking 3/6 with bump to 8 on last street of betting.
Any advise, game recommendations?
Cheers
