Updating this thread as I have received the rest of this sailor guys singles collection.
The guy I got these from worked in river boat and sea poker rooms for 17 years.
We were talking about some of his experiences when sure enough he found another singles haul. I had to grab it after seeing how cool the first batch was and I saw ones that matched to make a sample set.
He had another 1500 or so chips that he wanted to sell. I said “No shit? Anything in playable sets?” He said “Yeah!”
I said “ We’ll box them lil things up and ship em to me you old sailor you! My wife is gonna burn me with cigarettes but it is worth it!”
He tagged my joke with “ As long as she doesn’t weld your nuts to the front door.”
I died.. the guy clearly was a sailor indeed. Hope he writes a book.
