I recently purchased some chips from France. The tracking number I was given, CK*********FR, worked via laposte.fr up until the package entered the US.
After that I was in the dark until the package arrived. At which point I saw it had been given a new tracking number. Same as the original number with starting with "E" instead of "C". When I enter that number into USPS's tracking system I can see the entire history, including its transit through France to the US.
Now I am again expecting a package from France. This time, tracking number is "CC*********FR". Again, I've been following it via laposte.fr but now it is in the US and I can't come up with a number that USPS recognizes. Any rhyme or reason to this?
