Hey, I'm new to the forum but been lurking for quite a while. I usually just poke around and grab ideas for tourney structures for my home tourney. I host quarerly-ish tourneys with 15-17 players and 4-5 rebuys. I'm currently running the dice chips sold in so many cheap sets, but have supplemented it with a few more colors for higher denoms to ensure outside chips aren't introduced. My friendly game is growing a bit and decided another cheap set with printed denominations would be nice.

I saw the hard time given to the seller on the thread below, but honestly these are kind of what I'm looking for. Inexpensive and playable. Unfortunately I couldn't bid without a profile and now that I have a profile I need 10 posts to post in the classified section.

Anyway thanks so much for being so willing to others as they set up tournaments. Most of my guests enjoy they play and I'm sure its because of the information I've picked up here.

Hello and welcome!

Play with whatever you want and can afford, as long as you keep playing. As you win, sock a little bit of money away so you can eventually afford a good, secure set.

@Josh Kifer You may have a buyer.

Josh deserves a hard time, no matter what chips he is selling. If those chips work for you, go get them! There is nothing wrong with them.

Welcome and agreed! Buy what works for you and keeps you playing. For many of us here this is a hobby and collection type thing or just fascination with chips. I wish I could get my group to play tournaments! They just want cash games for instant gratification (or pain).

Welcome!! Hunt out some samples to get a feel for something you may like.
There are lots of options out there that are affordable, have a nice variety of denoms, and still look great!!
Check out @Apache's online selection

Cheers, Brie
