Hello! Just wanted to say hi as I finally joined the group! I've been browsing this forum since this summer and really enjoy it! My fascination with chips/cheques began from my trips to Las Vegas this year. Since seeing all of the awesome chips floating around I have been collecting some sample sets to decide which set I might end up with in the near-ish future. My favorite casino game is blackjack, however I am trying to learn Hold 'em and craps as well. Thanks for all the great info I've learned so far!

Welcome! Whichever set you’re looking for, I’m sure a PCFer has once had it. There’s some veterans on here who’ve helped me get kickstarted on this site when I first started, so don’t be afraid to just holler!

Speaking of blackjack, one of our hypest home game moments was playing blackjack on dealers choice. Our dealers choice game all of sudden turned into rotating black jack dealers for the rest of the night and it was probably one of the wildest/funnest times I’ve had LOL

What samples have you picked up so far?

So far I have picked up sample sets of the Dunes, Elite, and Monaco from Apache; Random THC/RHC chips from the casinos I've visited in Vegas, and I'm eagerly waiting for the Ace's sample set I ordered on kickstarter! My dream set would probably be a full custom CPC set, although I've yet to have my hands on any samples, yet.

I HIGHLY recommend getting a CPC sample! If you're considering this route at all you should get a feel for them. CPC are great chips, and very customizable!
However, your other chips are affordable, and will easily satisfy your needs for your games!

Definitely. Once the funds are there, I plan on ordering the various samples CPC has to offer. In all reality, I will probably start off with a ceramic custom set first. That's where I'm excited to check out the Ace's as they look really nice. Down the road, the CPC set will come, or perhaps the mythical set of new custom Paulsons One can dream, right? lol

Absolutely! Never lose sight of your chipping dreams!!! You never know what cards may fall in your hands!!! I think that's a great start and you should definitely give the ceramics a go! I wouldn't be surprised if you end up with both CPC and Paulson!
