I'm really new to this process as up until now, I've generally fumbled around with AI, InDesign & Photoshop myself - at least enough to get around and be somewhat dangerous. However, I'm starting a custom relabeled 43mm set and I'd like to center the designs around something local to my neighborhood, Charlestown. It's the oldest neighborhood in Charlestown, so there's no shortage of history. Specifically, I was thinking of something with the USS Constitution and/or the Bunker Hill Monument.

Anyway, this skillset is way above my pay grade, so I need to tap into someone that knows what they're doing. I know there are plenty of talented designers on PCF, but what's the best way to engage someone for a new potential job? I imagine everyone is swamped so before PMing a bunch of folks directly, I figured I'd throw up a post and see if any designers had any particular interest in these themes; maybe there's even someone local that I'm not aware of.

Any, I have no idea on pricing or process - but appreciate any guidance.

Thanks!

Here's a cool piece of art which shows the USS Constitution ("Old Ironsides") docked in the Charlestown Navy Yard with the Bunker Hill Monument visible in the background.

Which ones? Interested!

The Ice Cardroom set was designed by Matt. He also did my Phoenix Fire Card Room cash and tourney sets. I highly recommend him.

How detailed do you want? Do you want all of Constitution? Or would a section of yardarms and masts with the Bunker Hill monument hinting at it work?

I actually think something like a section of yardarms would be cool with the focus on the monument. If it doesn't quite work, I'd be open to ditching the Constitution portion for exclusively using the monument if it works better from a design standpoint.

Thanks!

Still looking here, yeah. And while the vector art is helpful, I'm sort of hoping to find a designer that can put together something custom. I'm currently exploring Upwork.
I used Upwork for my chips and found it to be a great site. I wanted someone local as well, and Upwork only let you search by country I think, and nothing great showed up in my search. So I opened it up worldwide and found no shortage of artists, many who are willing to do quick samples/mockups.

And nice theme!
