Booo.... I need 20 to fill out a rack, and I'm not spending $5/chip to do it.

There eventually comes a time when OCD >>>>> $$.

Trust me, I know.....

I agree, I would love to fill out my racks of hundreds and twenty fives but I will never pay that much to do it. Two or three bucks a chip I would have a hard time saying no to, much more than that and I will just deal with what I got. No biggie, these are going to be mine forever so they will get play no matter what, but as much as I want full racks I don't want then that much.

Getting ready to put these into play tomorrow

Nice! You sure I can't talk you out of a barrel or a barrel and a half. I hate to see you OCD act up and at least you would have a half rack instead of on barrel short of a full rack? [emoji1][emoji1]
They look nice! Have a good game

If I was happy with 150 $.25 chips, I'd use my yellow double horse head quarters. I have 150 of these, and they're from an underground card room circa 1970. Leaded goodness, buttery smooth.

Tempted to sell these and put the money towards a set of proper quarters (in better numbers to suit my needs)

If you ever go that route please keep me in mind as first dibs! Anything from a barrel to a rack! Enjoy the PD chips. They look great on your table. The chips in the pic do look sweet.

Those yellow hotstamped horse head quarters won't go cheap IMHO. I've mentioned selling them on occasion, and have been talked out of it every time. Apparently yellow hotstamped quarters = desirable... And leaded 1970's hotstamped quarters = very desirable. The history of coming from some southwestern illegal card room makes the chips even more interesting. :)

Yes, they are very buttery smooth, and they just have a feel about them my non chipper friends just don't appreciate... So they never/rarely see time on my table. If I had 50 more of them, I'd never had ventured into my Bennys quarter relabel project. For some people, 150 quarters are more than enough... Not me. I think 200 is my minimum.
