I have been a long time Paulson chip player. I lugged 1,200 CDI's from the Paulson showroom on Indust6rial Drive behind Circus Circus in 1997 along with all of the Pyramids they had left at the time. The CDIs have been in service on my craps table for decades, and the Pyramids on my blackjack table. I bought a set of Jack Cincinnati from Josh at Apache for the blackjack table and the Pyramids moved to roulette. (I need 10-20 snappers because we play 3:2, not 6:5 for blackjacks) It's finally time to see if I can buy/trade into more Pyramid $5, $25, $100, and $500s. Separately, I have Scandias on a craps table (different house) and need some $25s and one, or 21, $500s. I've been watching the classifieds for four years and that is the forum to find my buys or trades, I think. (Not eBay, LoL.) However, I rarely see real casino roulette sets (8 colors, a rack of each) on the classifieds. It's time to make the roulette color upgrade, too. Any ideas on where to look? Again, the classifieds?

Welcome to posting ! Classifieds are the way ;)

Too funny ekricket. The CDI is the only set I haven't added to, or wanted more of, or am still working on.... Unless, of course, I find some .50 fracs that they didn't have at the store in '97, eh? You are correct!

Hello and welcome!

Occasionally Jim at @TheChipRoom will clean out a closed or rebranding casino and sell the chips, which can include complete roulette sets (usually 7 players at 200-400 chips per colour). There was just a sale today from Harrah's New Orleans, but no word yet on whether there were any roulette sets as part of the purchase which may be offered in the future.

I remember walking down the street behind Circus Circus in the 80's and going into the Paulson showroom. I was in high school and had no major interest in chips. Boy would I like to have a second crack at that experience.

For sure digirati. I humped that 28 pounds of chips on my shoulder (and a craps rake) to LV Boulevard, all the way down to the Flamingo, and on the plane home. Worth every ounce of effort. I'm sure you'd have done the same. LoL.
