When I first joined PCF I luckboxed into a set that included a genuine topper.

It eventually moved to SoCal because I didn’t have a table, and I can say with near 100% certainty no more originals are or will be available. I tried replicating this locally with @kmccormick100 ’s help but the product just never came out right. @rjdev7 tweaked the “tribute” design if you will and that’s where the plaid design came from, trying to replicate this.

@aaron2786 has made some amazing reinterpretations since, and now custom sizing and single design ordering makes it very easy to get exactly what you want so that’s my recommendation.

thanks for the history. I don't have a legit poker table. We splash on a 9 foot pottery barn with an amazon topper Yeehaw. Would love a jack topper or a continental perhaps. So are you saying the interpreted version of the quilt doesn't look as good as the original but still looks stellar? or it doesn't look good?

In the eye of the beholder.

I could never find a perfect pattern match on any of the high res image databases or what was available didn’t stitch together well. This is using a vector file that can stitch and scale indefinitely. But because of that it doesn’t have the same feel as one of the newer design interpretations. Be careful if you’re not playing on a padded table though. This Chinese topper is thicker and works on basically any surface. Good on the go. The custom order topper is thinner and ideally placed on top of an existing padded surface.
