Hi everybody,

I have some Casino Royale sets. Is there any website here can I find a lot of information about all the casino royale or james bond products cartamundi has launched? What are the difference in the casino royale poker chips in the different sets?
And by the way, has anyone experience buying many sets when they launch a collector item? I it even possible without being a corporate customer? Thanks

I only know of two licensed sets of chips that Cartamundi produced based on production design from the Bond movies, one is the Casino Royale set and the other is the Floating Dragon set.

The Casino Royale set was available in sets with lower cash denom ranges ($1-$100), but were also sold in bulk through many online vendors with other denoms available ($500-$1000) as well as the denoms that were used in the movie ($5000-$25000).

The Floating Dragon set probably used similar denoms and breakdowns as the Casino Royale set, but I have never seen or handled these chips, or seen then for sale/trade here.

They are not considered particularly poor quality chips, but as essentially overweight slugged plastic they are far from the best. Their market was of course the hobbyist collector and franchise fan, and designed/priced accordingly.

There are some websites that have some historical information on some of these types of collectibles. Try googling "bond lifestyle". You can probably find the odd set for auction/sale on eBay.
