You know that I'll never bid against you. I have a rack, but was hoping to replace some of the really worn/darkened ones. Spinetti's only has the rejects left, I ask every few months.

@BearMetal do you really need this barrel? I’m not going to keep messing with you if you’re adding these to a set. If would continue, it would be just to replace really used chips in my set.

This is exactly what I'm doing. I've got a rack, but a bunch have very worn labels or have darkened (Similar to some of them in @HaRDHouSeiNC's photo)

If someone was building a rack and didn't have 100, I wouldn't be a dick and keep bidding. I've been checking in with Spinetti's every now and then, but all they usually have are chips in worse condition.

I actually have a history with JW ... I lived right near it for a few years growing up. Used to ride my bike by it after school. Anyway, if we're both after some to replace an existing rack, I'm ok bidding. But again, I don't want to be a dick if you really needed them to be made playable.

Hah, no collusion Derrick. I'm happy to bid. Yeah, it's a real shame they can't be acquired anymore... I know you'd be up for a trip to that tiny casino for us. I feel lucky to have my rack of $1s as well.

Nope, just making sure that Ben wasn't making a joke or anything. I dislike bidding against PCF members that I have a very good relationship with. I actually didn't think he needed anymore, which is why I asked.

Yeah, it's a gray area. On the one hand, I really don't want to deny a great member who's helped me out the chips that they want. But, I also don't want to sabotage an auction (especially an auction of a member who's also gotten me some awesome chips).

Anyway, the auction is open and people are free to bid. Doesn't matter to me if my friends want to bid against me, but I just don't want to be neck-and-neck with someone else, so I would bow out in those cases.
