Sitting Out
I've been searching for an obscure answer that I really didn't expect to find. We're just a group of seniors having an occasional social game. We're not high rollers ( we're all on SS or disability), but we enjoy sitting around at the senior center and razzing each other about our bad beats!! I'm the one who wants to add a bit of refinement to our game. Nice chips and nice cards makes it seem a bit more classy.
Recently, I've been asked about expanding our game list. Namely Limit games. I've got several chip sets : Skulls, Pharaohs, Poker Knights, Casino Royale and my Faux Clays.
My question: My Pharaohs would be the best choice for expansion. We are just 5-6 players, for a .5-.10 micro stakes game of Limit Omaha, how many .05 and .10 would I need to have a comfortable game? So far we have never had more than that play and we see no need for moving up to any higher Blinds.
The Pharaohs are:
.05-150
.25-150
1.00-100
5.00-50
NCV-50
All the breakdown posts were for 8-10 players and the Limit sets I saw had a crap ton of small blind chips. I was thinking and extra 100 .05 and .25 chips would set me pretty much where I want to be.
Am I on the money or am I barking up the wrong tree?
Thanks y'all, I'm slowly getting back into the swing of this.
