I have one homemade table that can seat 10. I have a game coming up next weekend that I could easily make two tables worth of players. I don't have time to build another table top before that but I would love to move up to two tables. What is a decent temporary solution that you have used in this situation? I'm willing to spend some money if there are good products I could order, but not looking to spend a fortune on a temporary solution as I'd like to build another table like I've already got.

I do have some cheap speed cloth that I could just use like a tablecloth. That is right now my backup plan if this doesn't produce any better ideas.

A roll-out topper works ok in a pinch. You can find all kinds on Amazon or poker supply vendors online. @rjdev offers nice toppers as well, but you likely won't be able to get one in a week.

Marketplace is usually good as an option. Might not find what you need within the week, but it’s worth a look IMO

Otherwise, I’ve had luck with the neoprene toppers @Beakertwang mentioned. You can probably find one for $30 or so

After lurking around here a bit more, I'm thinking about buying the $250 Barrington from Walmart, then later getting a nice custom topper for that.

That would have one big advantage over my homemade heavy plywood table top - that I could convince other people to host and much more easily bring the table with me.

I don't know what the Costco deal was, but they have the LED version for $330 on their website right now.

Picked up this for $175 today, new in box! For this weekend I'll probably just play on it just like this with the blackjack topper. The surface is pretty nice even if it is marked for blackjack, we can probably ignore that.

Eventually I'll do the custom topper. Then I'll need custom chips to match I suppose. RIP my wallet.
