So, I probably should not sell this—this is the case my 1,000 THC Starburst set arrived in—because I have a theory that these cases were what Paulson used for monogrammed home sets. I say that because another listing had a very similar 300-piece case with the same handle, case material, etc. But the fact is I don’t have a use for the case, so I am letting it go.
UPDATE: I forgot the price... Looking for $30 plus shipping. I just have too much stuff in my house.
The main material appears to be a stitched leatherette/Naugahyde, though I am not an expert in such things. For all I know it is actual leather, but I think not. The trays are a hard, black resin of some sort.
One caveat: When my chips arrived, I noticed that some color had transferred from the leatherette to a few of the chips on the ends of rows—maybe 4 or 5 chips. My guess is that these were in storage for a long time, and maybe some moisture got in. I just wanted to disclose that. My suggestion would be to use (say) ceramic blanks on the ends just to be on the safe side.
My shipping price is $10 flat. I will use the USPS or UPS to ship—not sure what it is actually going to cost me, so I might lose out a little or gain a little on shipping. But that’s what seemed a fair ballpark. I’ll ship this tightly in foam for protection.
