I'm looking for a very small, lightweight travel set. Fewer than 100 chips, probably something like 30 white, 24 red, 6 green. Going on a trip to Europe in October and we will probably play on trains, etc.

I will be schlepping this set in a backpack, so lightweight is essential. Some cheap plastic chips. If I needed nice casino chips, I have tons of options already. There used to be Faux Clay chips, and cheap unicorn chips that might work, but I don't see them anymore (and I haven't needed any in years). It would be nice if they stacked pretty well so the stacks don't fall over on the train.

Ideas?

Borrow somebodies Tina chips. The only ones I have are blanks. But it shouldn’t be hard to pick up or borrow a set of these.

I have some non-denominated mermaids you could borrow. They are ~ 6.7 grams each so a set of 60 chips weighs just over 14 ounces. A set of 100 to fit in a chip box would weigh just over 23 ounces.

I think I will try these. They’re cheap enough that if something happens to them, I don’t have to be overly concerned.
I found this chips to be a good bang for the buck, have close to 3000 of them for my MTT set. Don't recall which vendor I bought from.

@ekricket had a good idea with the starting stack tubes but I think the smaller jars might be better in a backpack. The can go in smaller nooks & crannies.

But if your bag is getting x-rayed you're going to be stopped a lot lol.

Dunno where these came from but they are hella light. I’d be willing to part with some of these.
