Long time player, first time taking chips seriously (1 Viewer)

Hi all,

As you can see in my first post I'm new here and I'm drawn to this site as I'm starting a poker league with money involved and all that for the first time. My friends and I have played for free for 10 years, but a few of us are now creating a real money league and therefore we can't continue to use crappy dice chips anymore, and that's how I came here.

I've already posted asking for advice, so I need to get 10 posts to buy chips from classifieds so here I am. Thanks!

I’d say take your time and get tons of samples, read and learn as much as you can, etc.... but that’s not as fun as diving in head first with an impulse buy!

Thanks for your advice, I should mention though that our budget is pretty slim. ~300AUD total.
