HI, I am new to the forum and am looking for some design help. I am planning to order a 1000 chip set of custom ceramics, 500 for cash games and 500 for tournaments. I want the tournament series to look like the wsop chips, but with "Mollick's" in place of "Rio" and whatever other minimum changes that need to be made to avoid any legal infringement. Like "Global Series of Poker" and "Tampa, FL" as the location. tournament denominations needed would be 100, 500, 1000, 5,000 and 10,000.
For the cash set I would want 1,5,10,25,&50. For the cash design I am very open to ideas. I would want "Mollick's Casino" on the chip for sure and possibly "Tampa, FL" also. A basketball theme would be good, also a theme of EG Vodka would be cool. The set is a gift for a friend who is an owner of the EG Vodka company and we are often drinking it when we play :)
I favor bright, bold colors and clear, easy to read numbers for the denominations.
I also wanted to have some dealer buttons made with the same theme.
I am willing to pay with a full sample set of the finished product, or other compensation if preferred, just let me know.
I am also looking for advice as to which company makes the best ceramic chips.
Thanks!
I've attached a few pictures as ideas.

If you are looking for someone to create your art, there are plenty of awesome artists here @Johnny5 @Quicksilver-75 @p5woody to name a few. All have different prices and some have more of a workload than others. Best option is to message them privately to negotiate

That's going to be very subjective. The vendors on the site that specialize in ceramic chips (PGI, OWPS, GOCC, and ABCGiftsAndAwards) all have differences. PGI and OWPS use SunFly blanks, and GOCC and ABC each use different proprietary blanks. As a result, there are differences between the products they produce, and there are fans for each vendor. Some people like the SunFly blanks, others like the GOCC (similar to ChipCo), and still others like ABC. There are also differences in the print quality, and again, there are differences of opinion on what is "best".

You're best bet is to obtain samples of the work from each vendor, and make the decision based on what you and your friend prefer.

Didn't PGI start using chipco blanks after purchasing their assets? Or have they stopped and started using singly?
They stopped after they sold their chipco equipment, that's why they stopped producing royal yaks

As per manamongkids's post, I don't believe they are making chips on a chipco-stype blank anymore. And I l believe they are using Sunfly blanks, based on another post in on the forum. I'll see if I can find it. But if someone has more concrete information, feel free to correct me. :)

Edit: I can't find it. So, at this point, I'll simply state that I have no idea what blanks PGI use. Get samples.

I believe this is correct. They may have some chipco-style blanks still in stock, but they aren't making any more.

It's amazing the variety of finishes available with ceramics. Be sure to sample some from different vendors to find out which you like.

I *think* brpropoker uses the chipco blanks

My 2¢, that's a bit busy. The best advice I can offer is to print out your design at actual size and see how it looks. There is a lot of small detail that will not look the way you wanted it to (e.g. the red outline on the $1 will just disappear.)
I totally understand what you mean, I will simplify and keep trying. I really appreciate your incite and knowledge, as a tattooist I have to keep shit simple when it's small or it looks no good, so thank you very much. And I hope you know that I am not trying to step on your toes and your business but I love chips, poker, and this site. With all the great people here I feel like I should contribute my skills in the arts department. THANKS AGAIN FOR YOUR HELP. .......

I would use either the $1 denomination or the wording, not both. Might help declutter a bit.

Im not a fan of how the rings on the E&W side are closer to the corcle and the edge of the N/S side are firther in. It looks really off and i dont like it. Also, the more faded out from #4 is much less vibrant.
