Not sure how realistic this is, but what better way to find out than ask?

I got nostalgic after seeing a post of the chips at Canterbury Park, and I'd like to explore the possibility of having my own Bud Jones set for limit games. Ideally a minimum of 600 $1 chips, with maybe a couple barrels of a higher denom to increase the bank. Not looking for a specific casino, but I'd like them to all be from the same place.

So, is this possible? I'm pretty new to the chip game, so any and all wisdom is appreciated.

I don't mind harvesting them for you from Canterbury but of course they'll all cost face value plus shipping. I can probably easily get 600x 1's in two or so trips. I can get 2's, 5's, 25's and 100's too.

Let me know

I do appreciate it. I was hoping to not have it come to that, but I will let you know if it ends up being my best option. Thanks!

Once upon a time, you could get Big Apple BJs for cheap, but I haven't seen any change hands for the last year or so.

No worries, if you decide to I'm more then happy to.

If you're interested in V7s, I'm at Borgata most weekends and can pull as many as you like.

I think your best bet would be the Parker's Casino $1...those are affordable and come on the market now and then.

10 racks please. And a $1000 loan also.

I think these are easily my favourite BJ $1 chips.

Visually, these chips are freaking awesome, I've had them and I love them still, but I have to say that the concave suction thing w/ the V7s make them very hard to shuffle. It got on my nerves after a while.

You are definitely not alone, but after years of playing at Borgata with my aggregate hours of chip shuffling now in the thousands, I now notice very little difference in ease of shuffling between these and buttery clay chips. Different feel for sure, but it does get easier.

I do understand, though. I feel about Matsuis as you feel about BJs, but I would snap buy a custom set of BJs if they were available. As of now, I'm waiting for Abbiati to open a Vegas office. I was originally told the end of 2015 and am now being told the end of 2016.

I built a set of bud jones chips that I still own using Parker's for 1, 5 and 25 dollar chips. It all started because I snagged a rack of mint bud jones brown roulette chips from the Aquarius Casino on eBay (I think) quite cheaply. I use these for fracs. Then by dumb luck a bunch of Parker's came up for sale fairly cheap on CT, and I augmented my set through Atlanticcoin on eBay to get it right! I was able to set up a pretty cool and inexpensive BJ set this way. The suction thing does exist on these chips as well, that is my only complaint. To me it is cool to have a bud jones set because they have never ever (to my knowledge) made home market chips.
