They are precision dice. @PokerChipsDesign uses a laser to etch the surface of the die. The process vaporizes a miniscule amount of material but more importantly causes the plastic to bubble and become opaque. The etched surface I then rub some white wax into and polish up. Are they still precision? Maybe not in the TRUEST sense, but I know they are still better than using standard dice.
