Especially if you are wanting to custom label them. $0.69 (fixed) a chip with the chip cost plus the Gear label cost. They are nice chips though and it's nice to be able to order as many as whatever denomination you need.

Think I have over 100 blues unlabeled. I also have a good size cash and tournament set.

I think your math is off a bit ... Apache has the chips for 0.39 apiece, and laminated labels are 0.15 apiece. Total 0.39 + 0.15 + 0.15 = 0.69 per chip, customized.

I stand corrected! Just a little off! And $0.68 if you buy blanks Majestics. Sorry about that. And if it came off that that I was criticizing the Gear label cost, I want to go on record saying that i was not. It's just when the chips get close to the high prices of blank Majestics + relabel, it might be a better option to spend a bit move up to a better chip that holds it's value more....and relabel those instead.

Apparently china clays cost 1c each to produce.

None taken :)

Not sure what you're talking about...?

Don't worry, neither does he.

BG you've got some baggage you're dealing with. I'd prefer not to engage for the benefit of the community.

Besides, I was just quoting you. Straight from the horse's/ass's mouth:

Repeat after me..... "They make these for pennies apiece. They make these for pennies apiece. They make these for pennies apiece."

They use mostly scrap material to make 'em (which is why things vary from batch to batch), and are not designed or intended to last a lifetime. They cost pennies to produce. If they break down, buy more.

Sorry, but 'pennies" does not equal 1 cent. Dunno where you got that idea, but it wasn't from me. You posted that number like it was fact -- hence, my comment about you not knowing what you're talking about. No malice, no baggage, just facts. And no name-calling (on my part, anyway).

The labels? Those, the factory sells for about a penny each, so undoubtedly cost a lot less than that to produce. That's why the cost of labeled chips vs blanks is almost negligible (or should be).

And my source for pricing and cost information is the factory in China. I'd be interested in hearing yours.

I have a few hundred unlabeled reds I could sell OP if he's still looking. Might have some barrels of yellows too.

PM me to discuss pricing.
