Massive PokerGo Billing Error (1 Viewer)

I get PokerGo once a year to watch live streams of the WSOP. WSOP has come and gone, so I went to cancel my subscription because it renewed today and BOY AM I GLAD THAT I DID. There is a billing error in their system saying that my quarterly plan - which is supposedly $39.99 - was going to renew at a rate of $3,999. Thankfully, I cancelled before the charge went through, but I wanted to give PCF a heads up in case there’s anyone here with a near-term PokerGo renewal.

Yup I sent them an email this morning about it, to which they simply confirmed their quarterly pricing was $39.99.

Why is it that every company associated with poker has some sketchy underlying feeling to it.

It can simply be an app error not caught in tests rather than malicious intent

for sure! To be clear: I don’t think there’s malicious intent here. Likely a bug in their billing system. But better to be safe than sorry when we’re talking about enough money for a Caribbean vacation.
