I really like the look of this sample set. I've only seen one of the Dealer Buttons before. How rare is this set? This is the highest priced sample set I've seen. Is the seller a member on here? Just curious on the details of this set.

That's a ridiculous price for the sample. The plaques are harder to find but there are plenty of those chips out there. They just don't move very often because, well, they're Matsui's.

They were acquired via group buy at the blue wall in 2006. The Zen group buy was for 7 denoms with about 17,000 chips and averaged $1.12 each. I believe there was an add-on in late 2006 or 2007. They took a second crack at the 1k chip on the rebuy since the first turned out meh.

I agree the price is very high but it is a beautiful set with lots of cool options, coins, plaques and oversized chips. I believe josh dalton(sp) ran the group by and J5 designed the artwork but was paid for it. It’s been a long time since I have seen a full sample set and cash sets are hard to come by, been looking for one for years.
