only 99$

You will say that these are just plastic diamond chips ..
But, it seems that these are very rare CLAY chips ...
Maybe @David Spragg could tell more about them ??
Firstly, please note that the shape of the diamond is different ...
Secondly the boxes in which they are located.
Third, look at what a clear cross-hatching... I even thought it was ASM... Because of her, I paid attention to them.
In the end, look at these edges ...
They were processed on a machine !!!!!
md-49???
What do you say?

I'd say they are clay. As you mentioned you can see the marks left by the lathing process & no injection marks. The also appear to be in the original shipping boxes. They look to be in great shape. I'd assume the "CT" is short for Chestertown.

Paulson diamond mold. They are actually very nice chips, I had a set. There are threads about trhem on CT. Also these chips say CT!

I seem to recall another thread here on PCF in the past month or two where someone took a chance on some eBay chips that were diamond mold, and just based on some of the pics they seemed clay not plastic, and when they came in were actually clay and not the plastic super diamonds. I don't recall if it was in the eBay/craigslist forum or somewhere else, but you might want to search for it.

I agree with you that the edges make it look like they are clay. I'd bet on clay. If I needed a set of these I might bid, but I don't. Looks like a decent breakdown for a 10 player (maybe even p to 20 player?) tournament set.

Not necessarily a selling point. ;)
