With all of the new options at CPC, I find myself tempted to get another custom set.

Looking at the MD50 mold, but I'm unsure if it's worth the premium.
I have plenty of Horsehead, H mold, and Hourglass chips to play with but no MD50s.

I need 8-10 MD50 chips to shuffle. I would be happy to purchase or arrange a swap.

PM if interested.

They are definitely a favorite of mine, and I am in a similar boat right now trying to decide on a mold.

Leonard,

I can loan you a stack but they're hotstamps. If that works...

I just received my MD50's. They have great feel, sound, etc.

That's what I'm afraid of. Cha-ching!

I feel silly even thinking about it, since I already have large tourney sets on the H and Hourglass mold and a smaller cash set on the HH mold.

Yeah. I'm a one cash set, one tourney set guy.

The only other mold I've had is the Roman mold and the MD50 is much different.

Your cash set on that HH mold set me off on the customs route several years ago, really liked it.

Somehow I'm spacing on your HHR cash set. Link to pr0n?

Those sets are all great. The hot stamp design is amazing.

It's pretty clear what you're missing is a hot stamp tournament set on the MD-50.

I'm guessing you will fall in love with the MD-50s from Club Courage. Shaped inlays on that mold are out-of-this-world....

I suspect this is true. However, since I'm looking at about a 1600 chip set, the price difference will be considerable. So before I take the plunge, I want to handle some samples. Good advice, even for an old chipper like me.

Just let me know if you'd later like to check out some shaped inlays.
