Hey, just thought I'd check here first before shopping online for Milanos. Looking for a cash game set. Preferably $1s, $5s and $25s. Let me know if you have any for sale.

Thanks
Gabe

I may have you covered. I'll pm later.

Hey Gabe,

Check out Crazy Horse chips as well from Straight Poker Supplies in Canada. Same mold as Milano but with a different inlay. The site is in Canadian dollars so it would be cheaper for US folks and they just started producing a new batch for 2017.

For anyone who follows Crazy Horse chips, the $25 chip is very hard to find, but it appears to be in stock again.

Thanks for the great info!!

Oooh Milano porn. We need more of it around here. I have over 1200. Post pics when you get them!!!

Wifey said I can open up my small man cave for some poker games. That was like music to my ears. I will post pics when I'm up and running.

I have the following Milanos if you are interested in all of them

$0.5 x 120
$10 x 75
$25 x 75

I picked them up of here for $61 shipped, happy to do the same.

They are in the same condition as when I got them.

FYI: whatever you get, i strongly recommend you stick with the standard chip intervals of each denomination being 4 or 5 times the previous (so that 3 intervals difference is a hundredfold increase: 25c-$1-$5-$25, or $1-$5-$25-$100, or $5-$25-$100-$500, etc.).

most home games can get by perfectly fine with 3 denominations, and almost never need more than 4. if you play as low as a 25c/50c cash game, for example, you are unlikely to ever need chips bigger than $20 or $25. if you play tournament style with your smallest chip being T5, for example, you are unlikely to ever need a chip bigger than a T500.

also: for what should be obvious reasons, never use the same chips for both cash games and tournament games, and be wary of using easily obtained chips (such as milanos) for a cash game. basically, anyone could buy a roll of $5 chips (value = $125) and bring them to your game.

I was thinking about the thickness of the Milanos, being that a barrel or a 100 does not fit inside a rack. Although, they have a look of a good looking clay chip.
I have considered others, like the Majestics. They seem a tad light, and they are the thinnest china clay in my opinion.
The Dunes that are being offered by Apache look promising, but I just can't get past those rainbow looking 5s. We shall see the jury is still out.

Thanks for all the comments, I apreciate the info!!!

most of the basic racks are actually a bit too loose for clay chips, including china clays. i recently prepped a set of 300 milanos for a friend, and i could put 21 per barrel in the cheap plastic racks. they are definitely not too thick.

I use the brybelly racks. They fit my Milanos 20 to the stack, exact, no more no less. I think it depends on the luck of the draw and what batch you get. Keep in mind all these china clays come from the same factory. The majestics had known width issues in the past. None are perfect.

I think it's been said before. SAMPLES!
