If you hold one right up to your nose, there is a little bit of a chalky smell, but it's not strong and doesn't have any real impact.

I had no issue with my sample set from The Poker Store. My thoughts are any odor and chalky residue will be remedied by oiling the chips.

My lizard brain would buy this chips in a minute. However, my wife says our children do not need to inherit any more poker chips.

My first PCF purchase, I used PayPal Goods and Services. I paid for the extra charge. All subsequent purchases, I’ve used PayPal Friends and Family, Venmo and cash for in person buys. All transactions have been great and with no surprises. PCF members are a good group of people. I found my Craigslist and Facebook Marketplace purchases were sketchy compared to PCF. PCF is a trustworthy community.
