has anyone done this?
doesn’t look like i can just slap a label on this mold…

if anyone has milled and relabeled some diamond mold chips ( MD 49) would ya could ya post some pics or at least your experience with this endeavor?

thanks

Just milled these to snap a pic for ya. Future project.

No recess. I'm using a magnate brand 7/8 bottom cleaning bit with my drill press. No need to go too deep. These particular chips are Paulson produced, so they cut just like any other TH&C chip. I'm sure the older Jack Todd chips would cut about the same.

How's your project going so far?

well....slow.

have all the chips
going to take an intro to CNC class at a local maker space and then learn how to use the ShopBot CNC router so I can do custom shaped inlays.

thats the plan

Nice! Good luck and be sure to post some pics of the process. Would love to see it.
