Not Mine Minneapolis, MN "Lazy S" mold chips - $24 (1 Viewer)

@AllinBallin , if you don't want them, I'd take them. I'll pp u the money.

To be honest, I think they have some value. I could be completely mistaken. But I'd be using them as giveaways for the MTTD in May. In fact, you should come down! Deliver the chips yourself. Or send them down with one of the other MN contingent coming down.

I could be wrong about the chips, but Greek key mold? Or maybe lazy S as the title describes, lol

Anyway, dibs, unless someone has a matching set and NEEDs these

Who can tell me about these chips? @BGinGA ?

If they're garbage, not really a nice giveaway. These look like old ASM chips, right? The vintage stuff I'm not well versed on. If they're nice, I'd like to work them and the case in as a giveaway...

Ahhhh, the meetup host... always in search of cheap trinkets to make my guests happy...

No idea of construction materials or manufacturer. If clay, likely made by Burt Co. If plastic, who knows. @David Spragg or somebody on thechipboard would be a better source for info.

EDIT: Update

Turns out they are clay compression-molded chips, manufactured by either USPC (pre-1947) or Burt Co (Maine) and distributed by Ryan & Co. ("S" mold chips were later sold by both HE Mason & Co. and Taylor & Co. after Ryan & Co was sold).

No clue what they are worth, but undoubtedly worth more than $24 to somebody in the collecting world. I would not break up the set.

I have no clue either, but that Lowe case is probably worth 24 dollars, alone.
