Chip Exchange has 5s and 1s going for .69/ea. I am not too keen on a casino worn set and would like to (if possible) obtain a minty or GUC as possible set of chips.

I have 2 racks of mint 25s coming and I would like the following:

1 rack of 1s in mint or GUC
1 rack of 5s or snappers in GUC or mint
1 rack of 100s in mint or GUC

I am ok at looking at primary or secondary chips as I am more concerned about the condition. I would also consider the Cleveland chips as well if they are in good shape.

I would prefer the 5s to look the same on both sides and not be commemorative or whatever its called.

Doesn't he have new ones for $1.79 each? Paypal link works anyways, but don't know how you feel about price.

there are no $1 that are mint that have been offered for sale, maybe if someone snagged them at opening or cherry picked 1000 chips for the best 100, but they all are casino used. Not terrible, but not minty.

The $5s he did/does have, and I have many and they are minty fresh.

$100 in mint would be the secondaries, which once again, are minty fresh. The casino used are better than the $1s, but still bitten and casino gunked.

hope that helps,
T

Yeah I was curious if there even were any mint 1s around. In any case I will just try and get the best condition ones I can. I sent him a PM but also thought some other members may have chips they want to move.

I do have a rack of 1s that are pretty close to mint and a rack of 5s that I am still on the fence with regarding building a cash set and am considering letting go.

Only catch is that I’m in australia.

Yep, that’s the worst part of chipping in australi. Couple of racks shipped to US would be around 69usd.

Although the price doesn’t increase for up to a couple more racks if you happen to want some argosy fracs which I had planned for relabelled quarters.

I have 7 barrels of $1s in excellent condition for my mint primary/secondary hybrid set. not for sale though. :)

I had to beg @The Chip Exchange to cherry pick for me. Thanks, Todd.

Only photo I have. Pretty minty actually now that I look again, I believe phobos223 harvested them when it was still horseshoe.
