Preamble:
In order to right the imbalance of CONUS-limited shippers and sales, I will offer any item I post for sale to anyone, anywhere in the world. In fact, for the first 24 hours of any of my sale posts, I will entertain *only* purchasers from outside the CONUS. So, Alaskans, Hawaiians, Canadians, Europeans, and all chippers rejoice! CONUS buyers may place dibs within the first 24 hours, and will be considered if there are no other qualified purchasers within that time frame.

Amble:
1) All prices quoted are in US dollars and do not include shipping (unless specifically stated).
2) Final payments to be made by PayPal Friends & Family.
3) Shipping shall be done by Canada Post, and all shipping charges, taxes, duties, and any other charges that must be pre-paid will be charged to the purchaser. Insurance is optional. Full value (purchase price) of the items shall be declared. Local pick-up (Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada) may be arranged. I'm discharged of all liabilities once the item leaves my hands.

Postamble:
I will try and make the best possible transactions that I can. I will endeavor to clean (via ultrasonic) and lightly oil (with mineral oil) all the chips I sell so that they are received in the best possible condition. I will collaborate with and refer to experts in this forum for any questions or requests that a purchaser may have. I will ship the items as safely and securely as I can.

FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION

Paulson TH&C mold solids with gold foil Starburst hot stamp. The mintyest of minty chips I have ever handled.
From my colour sample set, these look to be Royal Red (1 full rack) and Charcoal (1 full rack).
Price is $150 per rack if separated, or $275 for both racks together. Will come with the boxes in the picture.
Chips have been cleaned and oiled.

Remember, preference will go to purchasers outside the CONUS for the first 24 hours after sale posting. CONUS purchasers can make dibs for after this period.

Is it ok to label chips that have been oiled?

Yes, as long as they haven't been utterly drenched, and I would wait 2-3 weeks after oiling the face of a chip before putting a label on it, just to be sure it has had lots of time to dry and/or soak in.

Having said that, labelling directly over the hotstamp on chips such as these would give terrible results. The hotstamps are nice and new and crisp -- which means they also have ridges and lumps and bumps, which will show through any label thin enough to fit in the inlay recess. Any label thick enough to completely hide the hotstamp is going to be too thick for the inlay depth, not to mention it will probably have reduced adhesion since it'll only be sticking to the tops of the hotstamp ridges.

(Labelling these chips after milling the hotstamp would be great, though.)

I'm no expert, but you might want to reconsider this policy. If you have chips that are actually mint - never used - I'd want to buy them untouched. Cleaning them and oiling them might be your preference, but your potential buyers might not all agree.

Having done neither, would you say it’s easier to mill a hotstamp or de-inlay/relabel an inlayed chip to get to a closest-to-real-inlay final appearance? I get some idea from your price list, but since you don’t list a combined mill and label price, it’s hard to compare to the inlay replacement apples to apples - i.e. how much of the $2/chip inlay replacement is the labor for applying the stickers.

(Trying to figure out if I’d be better off hunting for CDM 100s or 100000s which would also work with the set, and come with spots.)

Thanks for the advice. In the future I will give purchasers the choice. However, I will generally not want to sell dirty chips.
