Um...YEAH. I remember when they were $0.75/chip, lol.....however, currently those prices are considered good. 5 racks in that time span lately IS rare dude. I used to have 1000 of them at one point. Like an idiot I sold them all....then struggled to re-attain 300 of them over the course of a year or so

For some reason, some Paulsons remain reasonably priced, while other prices are crazy.

Give me 2 racks of these over 1 rack of Paulson home market chips...ANY DAY!

I wonder if all those sales were connected somehow. Nothing like that was sold for five months then, BAM!, six racks show up in less than a week.

Let's just say I would not pass on the current opportunity waiting for more to show up mint PCA to come up at a cheaper price. I think one of us would be hard pressed to pick up a playable set of mint PCAs over the next year unless they buy them from a fellow chipper.

And no, I'm not selling any of my PCA chips -=- DrStrange

I found some mint racks of 1s and 5s on eBay in the spring with a BIN price. They were full market price but I pulled the trigger before anyone saw them.

I think the 1s were 225 and the 5s were 275 - new chalky never handled.

This, for sure. I didn't express myself well - I just found it odd that five racks got sold this week and no one said a word, then another rack came up and it was mentioned.

It was/is kind of strange for that any to just pop up all of a sudden. I almost snagged 300 of the $1 chips to add to my set just in case I ever decide I want to play limit poker (at least that's how I was justifying the potential purchase to myself). I even had snipes set in the $130/rack range, but ultimately decided to remove the snipes before the end of the auction. Hard to say whether or not $130/rack would have taken them as we don't know what the winner's max bid was*. Several racks of $1 chips sold on here within the past few months in the $125-150/rack range, so I believe the recent ones on eBay were a pretty decent deal (relative).

Also, for what it's worth, I believe the guy who I bought the large lot of PCA chips from on CT recently still has (250) of the mint $1 chips for sale $130/rack shipped.

I won the 200 and 100 auctions earlier this week for an average of $107 per rack and I'm very happy. They are all mint and the seller packaged them really well. I'm not sure if he's a member here or not. I just need some RHC mold mint $5 chips to go with them.
