One of the games I host is a casual/social 25¢/25¢ micro stakes NLHE cash game. It's a fun game with a good amount of banter and booze, poker is kind of secondary. About a year ago, looking for a new chip project and after seeing someone post pictures of a limit set with 10 different racks of casino $1s, I came up with the idea of doing something similar for this game. The set would be composed of two chips - starbursts for quarters and white casino $1s - preferably with small spot patterns so as not to confuse them with the starbursts. Each player would start with a barrel of starbursts in a different color and $1s from a different casino. Then as the night progresses, you can see who's winning whose chips We do usually play with a few $5 chips on hand (those are the "serious" betting chips ), but given all the starburst colors, I thought it would get confusing adding in some red chips for fives. Enter the $5 MSK plaque group buy with the perfect solution! So I grabbed a bunch of those (and subsequently some of the $20s), problem solved. I had figured on this being a relatively small set, two racks of starbursts and $1s plus the plaques. After numerous eBay snags and deals with folks on the board to assemble this barrel by barrel, I had "enough" for the set to function. Then I noticed another barrel of cool looking $1s. And another one. And another one. And so forth. 5+ racks of $1s later, this has turned into a bit of a collection set now, I figure eventually I'll have enough for a good size limit game
All of the starbursts are in mint to excellent condition, and the $1s range from mint to good (nearly all stand on edge). Thanks to the many PCF folks for helping me build this set:

Onto the pr0n:
Current full set:
Starburst barrels:
Casino $1 barrels:
While I have enough $1s for numerous different starting stack combinations, the stacks below are my favorites (combo of my favorite $1s, getting the cool bright starburst colors like blaze orange into the mix, and then color matching) :
And some splashed pot pr0n for those who like that sort of thing...
