So I'm doing a sports betting challenge because apparently I'm dumb and hate money.

The challenge is $1 per game on every underdog. Maybe I'll get lucky and make a little bit of money doing it. Going to try it for a month or so and see how it goes.

I'm sure it's a losing proposition overall, otherwise everyone would be doing it.

What kind of vig. do the online sports books take? Still 10% of winnings?

Hero will be making ~360 one dollar bets in April. I'd guess the results would be a $36 dollar loss.

None that I'm aware of. They just bake it into the odds.

The house edge is still easy enough to calculate. What is the result of betting equal amounts on each side of the line? That is the vig.

I did not re-deposit after the initial investment. It didn't last very long. I think I deleted my spreadsheet I was tracking on. I know I averaged a loss every day I can remember.
