Hi, I have a question and could use some advice. i am building up a Milanos set for home use. I won't be hosting real games, just playing with the family and sometime friends. I am keeping the set to low stakes but I am not crazy about the brown for the 25 cents. I have some blank blues, normally used for $10, on the way. Is it practical at all to pop the stickers off the 25 cents and re-attach them to the blues? If so do folks use a solvent for the glue or would that ruin the chip?

Thanks in advance for any advice. If the advice is suck it up on the browns that is all good. I may then use the blank blues as a variable denomination depending on the game.

Ive never done it but I bought a hobby knife to try it. Apparently its very easy.

Take a look at the $50 blue. I actually like it a lot more than the $10 blue. Presents much better in person vs pics.

Great, thanks

What are you going to do with your brown blanks?

Not sure, depending if I can make the time to even undertake this. If I do I will probably keep them as extras I guess. This might all get nixed anyway as my wife slready thinks I've gone too deep on this poker chip thing.

Omg you've got to get better about hiding shit. Ship them to a buddy's house. Get a freak phone to check PCF away from home.

Tell her it's drugs, not poker chips. They seem to accept that easier.

Tell her to get back in the kitchen...

...and it's been my experience the Milano labels pop off and re-attach easily using just a pocket knife.

if you try the kitchen thing post pics!

Of course I also already have control concept ideas for my own designed custom chips too. I better take long the long view.

I like the brown chip. It may or may not be a big hassle to change 25c chips to the color you desire, but the brown chip isn't that bad.

I hate the brown 25c also. One of the main reservations for not buying a set for my cash game
